Take the Test and find out which Tarot Card YOU are

Which Tarot Card Am I?

The Tarot is a system of both divination (foretelling the
future or the circumstances of the present or past) and
philosophy. It is said that after the burning of the great
library at Alexandria, the scholars, mystics and
philosophers created the system of Tarot so that the
ancient wisdom could always be received. Tarot images
represent the great archetypes in a manner that makes
them open to understanding on many levels.

Personas: Representing Your Online Identity as Visual Data Portraits

Personas [media.mit.edu] uses sophisticated natural language processing algorithms to create a detailed, visual data portrait of one's aggregated online identity.

Personas explores the web for information and attempts to characterize the person: to fit them to a predetermined set of categories that an algorithmic process created from a massive corpus of data. The computational process is visualized as a DNA-like, colorful strip with each stage of the analysis, finally resulting in the presentation of a seemingly authoritative personal profile.

Be sure to type in your own name in the online interface: is Personas able to analyze and represent your online identity in a sufficient way?

Find your Birthday Star

All this is calculated with the help of your birthday.

Find your star by clicking HERE

And just to give you more info - here the explanation directly from the website:

Birthday Stars
What's this all about?

Light travelling in empty space is the fastest thing in the universe. It travels at 186,000 miles per second!

The stars are so far away from us that their light still takes a long time to reach Earth. One light year is the distance light travels in a year: 5,878,499,812,499 miles. The closest star apart from the Sun is 4.2 light years away, so its light takes 4.2 years to reach Earth.

Tell the Birthday Stars computer when you were born, and it will look for a star that is your age in light years away from Earth. This means that the light we're seeing from that star today actually left the star around when you were born, and has taken your entire life to reach Earth.

From month to month you may see your birthday star changing. This is because as you get older the light from more and more distant stars has had the time to travel to Earth in during your life.

Time - Out!

Its time to take time off from your hectic schedule and BREATHE and/or TAKE A WALK

The title of the gallery caught my attention immediately and I am very intrigued by Tim Davis’ art work/photography. Two people may look at the same thing and see completely something different. As in his pictures, the details we pick up shape our view and Tim Davis is skillfully taking us into his world, seeing the details as he does, while learning to also find the beauty in things not necessarily considred art/beautiful/etc. – as for example the side of a rusty old boat…
